Signs your crawlspace needs it
- A musty or earthy smell inside the house, worse after rain.
- Cold floors in winter.
- Damp or dark spots on the wood joists, or old insulation sagging off them.
- Droppings or nesting under the house.
What we do
- Inspect and photograph the crawlspace, free. You see what we see.
- Clean out debris and old fallen insulation; level rough ground where needed.
- Lay a heavy vapor barrier over the dirt, overlapped and taped at every seam, wrapped around each pier.
- Run it up the walls for full encapsulation, when the job calls for it.
- Add a crawlspace fan where air needs to move, and insulate the floor above if it's cold.
