Palisades rebuilds

Rebuilding in the Palisades? Talk to us before you break ground.

We insulate Palisades rebuilds to the Title 24 report with spray foam, mineral wool, batts or blown-in, with our own crew and spray rig. Bring us in at design: the SoCalGas Fire Rebuild incentive pays up to $3.00 per sq ft for upgraded ceilings and $1.65 for walls, but only if it's applied for before construction starts.

What we do on rebuilds

  • Spray foam roof decks, cathedral ceilings and walls, open or closed-cell, with our own rig and crew.
  • Mineral wool for noncombustible exterior assemblies and sound control.
  • Batts and blown-in wherever they meet the report at lower cost.
  • Air sealing to help pass the HERS blower door test.
  • Rebate paperwork for the SoCalGas Fire Rebuild incentive. How it works

Our Palisades work since the fire

We've cleaned out and re-insulated smoke-damaged attics across the Palisades Highlands, added ember-resistant vent mesh, and insulated 24 attics and 42 crawlspaces at a Palisades condo complex. More on our Pacific Palisades page.

Common questions

Straight answers.

When should a builder bring in the insulation contractor?

At design, before the Title 24 energy report is final. That's when insulation choices are cheapest to change, and it's when the SoCalGas Fire Rebuild application has to go in.

Do you do spray foam roof decks on rebuilds?

Yes, open and closed-cell, with our own rig. Closed-cell gives about R-7 per inch where depth is tight; open-cell is common on roof decks and for sound.

Why mineral wool on rebuilds?

It's noncombustible, which suits exterior assemblies under the wildfire-area building rules, and it's good for sound between rooms.

How fast can you bid?

Email plans and the energy report and we turn around a takeoff and bid quickly. Our crew is local, so scheduling around inspections is easy.
